As the Taekwon Master wanders the land and gazes at the sky, a blessing unlike any other may be endowed. Solar, Lunar, and Stellar Miracle will grant the Taekwon Master the ability to use all Solar, Lunar, and Stellar-aligned skills on the map where it has been activated. The moon will eclipse the sun and the stars will shine brightly, making the world around the Taekwon Master go dark (the effect is similar to the darkness caused by a Soul Link).
Notes:
* All Taekwon Masters can activate this skill by default
* Can only activate on most outworld maps and a few dungeon maps (city maps and some dungeon maps cannot trigger this skill) by a random chance
* Ability to use all learned Solar, Lunar, and Stellar skills and passives regardless of the day, target, and map initially designated on usual basis. Basically being able to use all skills without restrictions for that period of time inside the map.
* Only lasts 1 hour after it is activated, and will be gone if the player dies, logs out or moves to another map.
* The wrath and blessing passives will all work on all monsters on the map and will stack together (as when this activates all monsters on the map are considered as targets of the Sun, Moon and Stars)

Overview

TaekwonMaster.jpg

Taekwons who wish to harness their connections with the celestial bodies and benefit from their power and blessing can advance to the ranks of the Taekwon Masters. As the art of TaeKwon-Do is not just physical but also will need to hone their spiritual power to empower their physical strength. Books are now the weapon of choice for Taekwon Masters to help hone their spiritual strength to convert it to devastating physical power. As they hone their connections with the cosmic bodies, they can gain enhancements from their blessings. These blessings however are quite restricted, as dictated by the mantra.

The Sun shines brightest on even days. The Moon shines brightest on odd days. And the Stars shine without fail on every 5th day.

Taekwon Master skills have other restrictions, which can be confusing, but can end up being quite powerful when used in the right conditions.

Skills

Skills of Taekwon Masters are classified into Restrictive and Non-restrictive Skills, and a Special Skill. Restrictive skills are skills which have some form of restriction based on map, monster and what day it is, skills may have 1 to more than of these specified restrictions depending on the skill.

As implied by the Mantra the Solar based skill restrictions are being only usable on a designated solar map and can only be used on a Solar day which is all even numbered days on the calendar, solar targeted monsters can only be small in size.

Lunar based Skills are usable on a lunar designated map and can only be used on a Lunar day which is all odd numbered days on the calendar, lunar targeted monsters can only be medium in size.

Stellar based skills are usable on a stellar designated map and can only be used on all days on the calendar that are divisible by 5 (5, 10, 15, 20), stellar targeted monsters can only be large in size.

Non-restrictive skills can be used on any map, any day and can affect any monster for that matter but may also still bear restrictions/penalties but not like the other skills.

Special skill is known as Miracle of the Sun, Moon and Stars, which all Taekwon Masters can activate randomly on any map any time.

Restrictive Skills

Skill Description Levels Type
427.png Solar, Lunar and Stellar Perception Designates the current map as the Solar, Lunar or Stellar Place for the use of certain skills. Alignments are virtually permanent and each can only be chosen once, and cannot be reassigned without performing the lengthy reset procedure. This means that you can only have one Map of the Sun, one Map of the Moon and one Map of the Stars. 3 Active
434.png Solar, Lunar and Stellar Opposition Designates the species/class of a single target as the Solar, Lunar or Stellar Target for the use of certain skills. Alignments are virtually permanent and each can only be chosen once. This means that you can only have one Target of the Sun, one Target of the Moon and one Target of the Stars. 3 Active
428.png Solar Heat Produces a swirling barrier temporarily, inflicting 100% physical damage to all enemies right next to the user and pushing them 2 cells backwards (will deal continuous damage to monsters immune to knock back). Every time the barrier hits, drains 2 SP. Can only be used on a Solar designated map. 3 Offensive
435.png Solar Wrath Enhances attack (based on DEX, LUK, Base level, Skill level) when fighting a Solar Target. Can only be used on a Solar map and on a designated target of the Sun. 3 Passive
431.png Solar Protection Temporarily boosts soft defense based on DEX, LUK, and Base level, can only be used on a Solar designated map on even days. 4 Supportive

Non-restrictive Skills

The second this skill is learned, the player will be blind forever, and improving this skill will shrink vision further. 442.png Solar, Lunar and Stellar Team-up When the player uses Counter Kick, any Monk in the party will improve their chance of using Raging Trifecta Blow. If any Monk in the party use Raging Thrust, the player will improve their chance of using Counter Kick. 3 Passive

Solar, Lunar and Stellar Miracle

As the Taekwon Master wanders the land and gazes at the sky, a blessing unlike any other may be endowed. Solar, Lunar, and Stellar Miracle will grant the Taekwon Master the ability to use all Solar, Lunar, and Stellar-aligned skills on the map where it has been activated. Notes:

  • All Taekwon Masters can activate this skill by default
  • Can only activate on most outworld maps and a few dungeon maps (city maps and some dungeon maps cannot trigger this skill) by a random chance
  • Ability to use all learned Solar, Lunar, and Stellar skills and passives regardless of the day, target, and map initially designated on usual basis. Basically being able to use all skills without restrictions for that period of time inside the map.
